Colton Rouse, MA, LPC, LMFT, has over 7 years’ experience as a mental health professional. He has worked in the mental health field in various settings, including behavioral health for foster care children and their families, group therapy for men and women involved with domestic violence, and treating individuals and couples in private practice with anxiety, depression, and relational issues. Colton earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin. He went on to earn his Master of Arts in Counseling from Saint Edward’s University in Austin, TX.
His approach working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families focuses primarily on cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and existential therapy while incorporating family systems theory into his treatment plans. Colton values an honest, genuine, and empathic connection with all his clients and provides a safe and caring environment to facilitate connection and treatment.
